The Belgium town/ city of Bruges looked like something from a postcard and I liked walking around looking at all the buildings in our hour of so we spent there.
There was also a Hotel named after Jonathan ( Thon)
And once again, frogs (Kermy's friends/ relatives everywhere). I don't know what this preoccupation with frogs in Europe is all about to be honest. They're everywhere!
After Bruges, we moved onto Brussels where the main attractions were the Grand Place and cheeky Mannekin Pis statue. There is a whole building that houses costumes ( most donated by VIPs)for the Mannekin Pis. On the night we were there, there was a celebration of the Mannekin Pis with a parade and costumes and plenty of noise from the marching soldiers.
Brussels is also the birthplace of the author of Tin Tin
We stayed in the Marriott which is the first Marriott I've been in that was in the same building as McDonalds.
