This second day went much better than day one, but most people were still a bit tired.
The highlight of the day, was the Rhineland Cruise. Real fairy tale stuff. Ye olde castles with the Black Barons about to ride out on their black horses to do all the bad stuff. The wine wasn't bad either. Julie and I bought two half bottles of wine which meant we got two souvenir glasses "free."
Heidelberg was a beautiful place, not at all like Heidelberg Melbourne. An old city on the winding Necker River. Our guide said that Heidelberg wasn't really famous for anything except for for the production of something obscure and fountain pens! Be that as it may, it was still a beautiful place.
The evening meal was very nice, mine was accompanied by a local wheat beer, and Julie's a locally produced white wine.
Tomorrow little Medieval village and Munich.
